Heard of Generation Y? Well if you haven’t your business soon will, at least according to a recent article by the Guardian. These are the generation born 1977 to 1998 – quite a broad number of years to stereotype too much – but nonetheless they are those that grew up amongst the debates of climate change and sustainability, and who have seen cries against them almost completely fade away. The article encourages businesses to note the growing consumer power of this group who are starting to have a family status, to want more goods, and to have the income level to afford more sustainable and ethical standards.
